Formicoxenus nitidulus is a species of ant in the family Formicidae. It is found in Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland and has a conservation status of 'Vulnerable'.
Formicoxenus nitidulus cohabits with Formica aquilonia and Formica lugubris and is known as the Shining Guest Ant, because it noticeably shiny thorax and abdomen.
